After successfully capturing Romelu Lukaku from Everton, the red devils have turned to another premier league player as Jose Mourinho moves to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season. The manager has identified Tottenham’s Eric Dier as a transfer priority and it is reported that a deal worth £60M would be offered for the player.
Reports in the Mirror reveals that Manchester United are willing to know how far Tottenham would go to retain their star midfielder and despite signing a new deal at the club last season, it is reported that the player could still leave if the deal is right.
Eric Dier is one of the talented midfielders the premier league has ever seen but he has seen his position threatened at the club with the boss opting to play with Moussa Dembele and Victor Wanyama in midfield which has seen Eric play in a defensive role of a back three formation.
Manchester united were formerly interested in signing Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic but the blues are now reluctant to sell after the red devils hijacked a deal for Chelsea target Romelu Lukaku.
If Eric Dier completes a move to Old Trafford before the end of the transfer window, he would be a great addition to the team which has seen new entries in the likes of Victor Lindelof from Benfica and Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
